A: Assigning Nurse to Visits: UserAction and Manual Options

Assigning a nurse to a visit can be done in two ways:

1. Automatically, via a UserAction triggered after completing the Nurse Interview or linking an existing nurse to the participant.
2. Manually, by assigning a nurse directly to a visit.

Role: Main CC

1. Open UserAction

Objective: Assign nurse to one or multiple visit and notification are automatically send.

The user action to assign a nurse to one or multiple visits will appear based on the following conditions:

• Completion of the "Nurse Interview" task, with the nurse marked as "Selected".
• Linking an already existing nurse in the study to the participant. Read [this article] about how to link an existing nurse to a participant.

Open UserAction Window:

• Select the action icon in the right top bar.
• For each of the selected visits, a task is created and sent to the nurse to plan the actual visit.

Select the "i" Icon:

• Click on the "i" icon on the right side to open the user action.

Select Visits:

• Select one or more visits of the participant where the nurse needs to be connected.
• Press "Save".

Outcome:

• The visits are successfully planned with the status 'calculated' and assigned to the nurse which is visible in the Visit Information and Visit Details.
• The plan visit tasks are created and assigned to the nurse with the status 'planned' when the target date of the visit is more than two weeks in the future, and with the status 'open' when the target date is within two weeks.
• Nurse receives confirmation notification.
