A: Nurse Identification Process After Participant Assignment

Introduction

After successfully completed adding a participant after Home visit request by the site, the next step involves identifying and assigning nurses to the participant. This process ensures that the necessary nursing support is available for the homecare visits. Below are the detailed scenarios for nurse identification.

Role: Main CC or Back-up CC
Objective:
 Understand the scenarios for nurse identification and how to complete the task.

Scenario 1: New Nurse Required 

  1. Open the "Nurse Identification" Task:

    • Navigate to the "Tasks Overview" section.
    • Open the "Nurse Identification" task.
  2. Submit the Form:

    • Answer the question "Selection type" with "New search".
    • A task "Select nurse'' for each indicated type (Main nurse, Backup nurse, Main MD, Backup MD, Other)" is created.

Outcome:



Scenario 2: Existing Nurse Required

  1. Create a New Participant:

  2. Open the "Nurse Identification" Task:

    • Navigate to the "Tasks Overview" section.
    • Open the "Nurse Identification" task generated based on adding a participant.
  3. Submit the Form:

    • Answer the question "Selection type" with "Select existing nurse" if the nurse is already approved for this study.
    • A task "List of Contents - Existing nurse" is created.

Outcome:

  • The system updates the task to select an existing nurse and creates a "List of Contents - Existing Nurse".
  • The system generates an email to the HR departement.
